She isn’t successful because she’s never had a number single, oh alright.

To date she has sold three million copies of Born To Die, it debut at number one in at least 10 countries, has been certified gold (multiple times), platinum (multiple times) in 5 countries and Lana has toured the album to most of the time sold out dates.

Lana was nominated for about 20 various awards last year taking out a handful of them and Born To Die made practically every end of year list that matters, NME, Spinner and came in at number two on the Hype Machines best of 2012.  

She became the face of H&M not to mention gracing the covers and pages of numerous magazines after being signed to Next modelling, the bitch even had a bag designed that was inspired by her from Mulberry.

All this without a number one single but I guess without it Lana will never be as successful as the likes of LMFAO, Psy, Justice Crew and Flo Rida who all topped the ARIA chart last year.

So I’ll stick with unsuccessful Lizzy and you can emerse yourself the successful stylings of the musical genius that is LMFAO.
